Advanced Audio & Video Production: The Red Thread

This is a copy of our Chinese adoption photograph for my youngest daughter. A very wise person once told me to create or write what you know or are passionate about. Adoption is a very personal choice for any family and international adoptions are not easy.
The use of the legend of the Red Thread is based on a Chinese philosophy reference to couples and how fate brings them together. The Chinese adoption community has used the story as a belief that some families are destined to be together; thus the legend of the Red Thread. While this is a nice story, it it not meant to degrade or downplay the complex and ethical issues with of international adoption for there are many.
